In his role as CEO and owner of 50% of Interlutions and SensioLabs Deutschland, Eric Meurers advises companies on their digital strategies.
Born in Cologne to German and French parents, Eric lived in Chicago and Paris, where he worked for Hachette Filipacchi. He eventually made his way to Cologne’s Dumont-Verlag in 1997, where he helped build the Kölner Stadtanzeiger and Express websites.
This is where he met Christian Schmidt. Together, they founded the internet agency Interlutions in 1999. In the first few years of business, Interlutions became the house agency for companies like Deutsche Post, Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt, Nintendo of Europe and Renault Deutschland – becoming one of Germany’s fastest-growing digital agencies. He is also a co-founder of Sumo GmbH, a pioneering SEO company that was sold to UDG.
